How Will the Auto-Review Feature Help Me?
The automated review feature allows you to automate your Airbnb guest review process easily. This practical tool has been designed to save you time and help you collect more positive reviews from your guests. A strong review rate improves your SEO ranking. The first step will show you how to create the templates that you will use for reviewing your guests. The second step will focus on how to enable the automation.
How to Set Up Reviews Automation?
You can use review templates for future automation. In this scenario, we recommend that you use gender-neutral forms that can be applicable to any guest. It will also be a smart idea to create templates that are suitable for any number of guests. To automate your reviews, you first need to proceed to Reviews and create at least three positive reviews (with 4+ stars).
Once all three templates are ready, proceed to My profile and switch on Auto-reviews.
Decide on a delay time before sending out the review. You can set up a number of hours/days you want to wait before sending out the review.
We recommend that you select a three-day delay to be sure that there was no damage found after your guests have checked out. Remember, your reviews will be posted on Airbnb. They will not be visible on iGMS.
How to Disable Auto-Review for a Specific Guest
To disable a review for a specific guest:
Go to Reviews in the left-hand menu.
Find the guest you don’t wish to review.
Click “Don’t leave a review for this guest”.
This action will remove the guest from the pending review list and no review will be sent—manual or automated.
To stop only the auto-review (but keep the guest on the list):
Locate the guest in the Reviews section.
Toggle off the Auto-review switch for that guest.
This prevents the system from sending an automated review. The guest will remain visible in the list, so you can submit a manual review later if needed.
Note: These settings are specific to each guest and won’t affect your overall automation rules.
