Airbnb offers two automatic discounts you can enable on your listing to attract higher-quality guests and reward bookings made in the Airbnb app. Both are applied by Airbnb automatically when a guest qualifies, and both can apply to the same booking alongside your other discounts.
High-rated guest discount — 15%
This discount applies automatically to top-rated guests — those rated 4.8★ or higher with at least 3 Airbnb reviews.
Enabling it can improve the quality of your bookings and reviews, and listings with this discount benefit from additional Airbnb merchandising (such as added visibility and a strikethrough price in search results).
The discount rate is set by Airbnb at 15% and can't be changed at this time.
Mobile app discount — 10%
This discount applies automatically to guests who book through the Airbnb mobile app.
The discount rate is set by Airbnb at 10% and can't be changed at this time.
How these discounts stack with others
Both discounts can apply to the same booking, and they can also combine with your other active Airbnb discounts. They never cancel each other out.
Airbnb groups discounts into tiers. Discounts from different tiers stack with each other; discounts within the same tier don't stack.

When more than one discount applies, they are calculated one after another rather than added together. This means the combined discount is always a little smaller than the sum of the individual percentages.
The final price is calculated as:
Final price = Base price × (1 − Tier 3 discount) × (1 − Mobile app discount) × (1 − High-rated guest discount).
Example
A top-rated guest books on the Airbnb app, and the listing also has the New Listing Promotion (20%) active.
Base price: $200/night
New Listing Promotion (Tier 3): −20%
Mobile app discount (Tier 2): −10%
High-rated guest discount (Tier 1): −15%
$200 × (1 − 0.20) × (1 − 0.10) × (1 − 0.15) = $122.40/night.
Note that the three discounts don't add up to 45%. Because they apply in sequence, the effective discount here is about 38.8%.
Good to know
These discount rates are currently fixed by Airbnb and can't be edited. Airbnb plans to add configuration options in the future.
Within Tier 3, only one discount applies per night. See Airbnb's Help Center for how priority is determined within that tier.
