Vrbo recently updated their connection and authentication process. Because of these changes, iGMS now supports Vrbo connections through our official Google Chrome Extension. This guide will help you install the extension, link your Vrbo account to iGMS, and ensure the connection remains active.
Important: Chrome extensions are not compatible with mobile devices such as phones or tablets. Please perform all connection steps on a desktop or laptop computer.
Before Getting Started, Please Confirm:
Google Chrome is installed on your computer
You have access to your iGMS account and to your Vrbo Owner Dashboard account (in Owner Mode, not Traveler Mode)
1. Install the iGMS Vrbo Chrome Extension
Open Google Chrome on your computer
Visit the Chrome Web Store link to get the extension
Click Add to Chrome button
Confirm by clicking Add Extension
Once installed, the extension icon will appear in your Chrome toolbar in the top-right corner of the screen.
2. Connect your Vrbo account to iGMS
Log in to both accounts (in the same Chrome Profile)
Log in to your iGMS account
Log in to your Vrbo Owner Dashboard (ensure you're in Owner Mode)
Open Vrbo account settings and authorize the connection
Click the iGMS Vrbo Extension icon in your Chrome toolbar
Click on the Open your Vrbo Account Settings button
When the Vrbo Account Settings page opens, return to the extension and click Connect Vrbo Account
The extension will instantly connect your Vrbo account to iGMS
3. Verify the Connection
Now please go to iGMS → Accounts&Listings and confirm that Vrbo account is displayed as connected.
That’s it! Your Vrbo account is now successfully connected to iGMS.
