In this guide, we will walk you through how to access, explore, and update your AI responses, so you can improve your guest communication and make the most of the AI features iGMS provides.
Step 1. Access AI Management Features in the Property Editor
To begin managing your AI responses, log in to your iGMS account and navigate to the Property Editor. Within this section, you will find two new buttons:
Explore AI Replies
Update AI Knowledge Base
These options enable you to preview how the AI responds to common questions and ensure the information it uses is current and accurate.
Step 2. Explore AI Replies to Improve Guest Communication
Click on the Explore AI Replies button to open an interface that resembles a chat window, similar to ChatGPT. This environment allows you to test how the AI responds to questions related to your property.
Enter Questions: Type in questions about your property, house rules, amenities, or messages you frequently send to guests. The AI will generate responses in real-time based on the current data.
Assess Responses: Review how the AI answers. If a reply is inaccurate, incomplete, or could be improved, you can enhance it.
Add New Information: Beneath each response, there is an Add New Information button. Clicking this prompts you to select a category and subject relevant to the question, then input verified, accurate data. This process helps the AI learn from your inputs, improving future responses.
Step 3. Update the AI Knowledge Base for Accurate Responses
By default the AI has 2 sources of information:
Property details, message templates, and house rules.
Knowledge Base.
The property details and house information are managed through the Property Editor and Listing Editor. The message templates available to the property will be used to generate AI Replies as well.
AI Knowledge Base is a customizable source of information for the Al. To keep it up to date, follow the steps below:
Open the Update AI Knowledge Base menu: Here, you will see a list of categories containing relevant information about your property, such as house rules, amenities, and contact details.
For example, you can add information about nearby restaurants and cafes under the Local Recommendations category or mention airport transfer options under the Transportation category.Edit Information: Each category has an edit button (represented by a pen icon). Click this to add, modify, or delete data within that category.
Save Changes: After editing, ensure you save your updates. These changes will directly influence the AI’s responses, making sure they reflect the most recent and accurate information.
Step 4. Tips for Optimizing AI Responses
Regularly review AI responses in the Explore AI Replies section to identify areas for improvement.
Keep your AI Knowledge Base current by updating details whenever changes occur, such as new house rules or amenities.
Use the Add New Information feature to continuously train the AI, ensuring it provides helpful and accurate replies to your guests
